Author Topic: Do relays cancel other events?  (Read 559 times)

I'm trying to make something in my current build where a sound is looped through relays, while a few lines of text are shown on the screen. Whenever I enable the relay events, the other events don't happen, mainly my CenterPrint. Is this supposed to happen? If so, is there a way around it? I tried routing the relays to another brick and it didn't work.

I've found that relays will cancel out any scheduled events.

Damn.

Any way to make it work?

Make a darn good scipt that interfers with what is originally programmed to make it so you can fire relays without the events canceling....sounds confusing...ask someone smarter than me...

I need a quick fix that involves events.

If you download those variable events you could do a decent thing with them.

That's nice. D:

I got around the problem, so I don't need help anymore. I just ended up making a separate brick for the sounds. Thanks for everyone's help anyway.

Locking.
