Weird keyboard problem.

I just had to restart my computer because half of my keys were opening functions on Vista. L was locking my computer, X was opening some control panel of sort sort, and D was going to my desktop. For future reference, is there a quick fix to that, besides restarting? What even caused it to begin with?

dirty keyboard?  unscrew the back and wash the keys, set to dry, put back together, FIXED!

It sounds like your Windows Key was stuck down. Those are shortcuts to Different things.
Windows Key + L = Lock
D = Show Desktop
E = Open Explorer
F = Search
R = Run
etc.

Yeah, your windows key was stuck or Vista thought it was being pushed down.
