Ok I tryed, I came up with the following script:

canvas.clientCmdOpenBankGui(); it will come up with the bank gui, but when I click ok it says:

You are too far away

even if I'm right by the banker.

I'll try again see if I can correct this or come up with something better.

As far as the volcano: meh I only really need the dyes, and I'm too lazy to practice.

You have to speak with the NPC first. It only works near an NPC. Doesnt matter which one. This is why I speculate about "Place Holder". Perhaps it was Badspot's secret bank.

Or maybe that the remote banking is a bug in the game and the place holder is there to taunt you and explain that there is nothing there.

hard part is getting out, unless you know the special bank gui command.

Remote banking will not help you anyway. It will only work near another npc, making it only remotely useful in level 2.
It is not difficult to get out at all.
