Get a russian blue. They're hell awesome. Make sure you get a kitten, they're more active. If you want one that sleeps all day, get an older one.
Make sure you don't get one that was interbred with siamese. For some forgeted up reason they did that just for more russian blues, now we have forgeted up ones that look like

this. Get the
cute looking ones.They also are very adorable, as seen here;

Even so, he still sits around all day because he's so damn smart he figured out the toy mice aren't real.
