It's good for a cover.
The hissing needs to be addressed, I don't care if you don't mind but everyone you are allowing to listen to this does.

It's pretty noticeable.

Well, this turned out to be a mess. Only a few people commented on the song and most of the thread is spent arguing over nothing. Woops.

Uh, they can both play it. Are you sure you have the latest version? Maybe you just don't have the right plug-in, or something. But I think on WMP the mp4 plug-in is default, so you must have some sort of problem.

I think the term you are looking for is audio codec.

He will need the appropriate audio codec to be able to play m4a. Which of course as we all know, is his own fault and not yours.
