Author Topic: We should make a basic help topic.  (Read 649 times)

Basicly put a topic in the Help section, with useful hints and stuff like 'Press ` to open your console (its usually the button left of 1 and above tab. Below escape if you lack brains). Of course, if this doesnt work the console is a virus the black screen behind your blockland when it runs.
In the console, you can enter things to make your game do cool things. They can also help you to fix things.
Say if you jet when you dont press anything and stop jetting when you do, type "jet();" (no commas) into the console and this will be fixed. By typing "jet();" when your jets arent broken, can break them. Dont worry, you can fix this again, by typing "jet();" again.

The above was a very basic example, and generally people who don't know how to do this, don't venture into the forums much.
Post yours and we might get this moved to help by badspot.

Be helpful and nice.

TL;DR
Make a massive topic with useful tips.

Dedicated server help

To start a dedicated server, first start a regular server with all the add-ons you want enabled. Then, go to Start, My Computer, Program Files, Blockland, and double-click the file that says "Dedicated". A console box should pop up and start your dedicated.

I'm sure a lot of us appreciate what you're trying to do, but here's the thing: The people those topics are meant for won't read them. Badspot even said, "The target audience of this post would never take the time to read something that long.  This post is pointless." in a topic geared towards people from Roblox.

I'm pretty sure you can read other topics to find out information.

You never know, if this gets big enough you could find something useful. And if you add headings to things, people will know not to read and not TL;DR.

If people always read the topics at the top of General Discussion, we wouldn't have any topics about not trusting yourself with the duplicator.

To annoy the hell out of somebody, instant respawn them once every 33 milliseconds.  Although some people may find this fun.
