Don't bother posting stuff unless you actually put effort into it.. You are putting it up for show for others to view, therefor you can't blame anyone for saying it sucks. The more effort you put into it, the less likely you will get this, but even so, you will still get that statement from at least somebody. Instead of brushing everyone off, take the advice and actually do something that doesn't look like a 7 year old drew it.
If you are gonna post it, make sure it's something you'd also be willing to show to anyone in the real world, because the people on the internet exist just as much as those in the real world, and you should be just as embarrassed for showing an effortless picture to them.
