The exterior was entirely done by TheGeek.
Originally, he intended to turn it into a haunted mansion, we even had a deathmatch in there.
Ephialtes and TheGeek later on created rooms which you could apply for, though they also had a list of people whom they wanted to give rooms, some of them weren't in MotE.
The last part that was finished was the lab in the basement.
