It could also be your ISP which has blocked every port.

Dont mess with the DMZ settings. Unless your network is set up as a de-militerized zone or you want to replicate what a DMZ does.

But basically the DMZ has more access than the standard lan so is open up to more possible attacks from the internet. The DMZ has no direct access to the LAN ... Ugh, if you need more info Wiki it. But basically dont change that setting.
