Author Topic: Can't Host  (Read 641 times)

I've forwarded my ports, enabled DMZ, allowed it through Windows Firewall, My virus protection [Spybot] allows the game. I seem to be able to host on ANY game except Blockland. I have a Linksys WRT54GL. And my Blockland Server appears as "Dead". If you need any more information on helping to solve this problem, please don't hesitate to ask.

Forward your ports. AGAIN. I'm pretty sure the same thing happened to me.

Been there, done that.

But when did this problem start?

It started ever since IPv6 was created, when I installed Windows 7. However, I've disabled IPv6 now, but I still cannot host.

Double Toast
Would the probability that my IP is 192.168.15.** cause problems with hosting a server?

Dont enable DMZ unless you are using a de-militerized zone.
Helpful paint drawn diagram.

I'll try disabling DMZ then.

Double Post..again.
Well, that didn't work. I also tried changing my IP, that didn't work either.

You can't join your own server if you're querying Internet, you have to query LAN.
If you've already forwarded your ports and set up your static IP, people should be able to get in. Ask on the RTB IRC if your ping is dead on their end, because the ping will always appear dead on your end.
