Author Topic: Why do my PS2 wireless controller mess up like this?!  (Read 413 times)

It seems I've went through 3 or 4 wireless PS2 controllers in just about a month. Cause every time I get one, after about a day or 2, it either 1.stops working all together(controller not responding but everything is charged and the light is on and all), or 2.it either forces the start, select, or left/down buttons to act like their being used but I'm not touching the controller. I left the controller on the TV for a second to wait for it to load and it kept scrolling through my PS2 main options(the menu that comes up when you have no game in/disc slot open for a bit). Is there anyway to solve these problems?.....

The latter issue is a button being held down when the controller is turned on so the PS2 thinks it's origin is pressed down. so since the button is not down the PS2 thinks it's "ON" or being pressed

TL:DR don't hold down buttons when turning on your PS2

Spoiled kid, stop buying so many and stop smashing them and holding down the damn buttons.  Also, wouldn't the cost of the controllers be about $80-$100 for 4?
