Author Topic: Are there any add-ons that allow someone to build floating bricks?  (Read 1155 times)

I always took that feature for granted in the old blockland, but not it's gone, I miss it ): So, anyone made that mod yet?

No, it's built into the Blockland Game Engine. It's impossible to have floating bricks unless you load a bedroom save in slate or something.

DISREGARD THAT LOL

Kaphx is now working on a kind of mod that bypasses this, and yes, it works.

Thanks, I'll look those up, and I hope he makes a nice one.

Really! This would really come in handy!

yay flying spam
I played RTB 1.045 recently, and i saw someone spamming baseplates above the floor in the Bedroom, the baseplates were also overlapping each other

RTB 1.045 servers can be so predictable at times :cookieMonster:

Elaborate, please. These sound pretty interesting.

wrench,

uncheck colide, raycasting, and rendering

Kakashi, he means whether to circumnavigate the base game rules to build floating bricks. Not just make some invisible.

I made a event called movebrick, but I won't release it.

Floating bricks are really glitchy. Wanding any one of them will usually cause the entire structure you're building to collapse, and you probably won't be able to hammer any of them because of that. Use invisible (non-colliding, non-raycasting and non-rendering) supports to hold up builds - it's really the best way to do things.
