Italians most of the time's nicknames end with ie or y and have another nickname (eg. Joey Bananas, Paulie Walnuts) also almost all of the time italian last names end with a vowel (eg. Soprano, Coroleone, Paccino, Stalone, Capone, Gualtieri, Dante, Moltisanti :D) yay mafia show/movie names :D
