and i really don't get the reason why... you can just turn them back on
V11 Problem 10: Certain less sophisticated users abuse other players on the basis of their numerical ID.V12 Solution: Since the ID numbers are a necessary part of the game, we can't get rid of the entirely. In v12, they are hidden by default. They can be re-enabled in the advanced options menu. The theory here is that the sort of user who is likely to abuse people based on ID is unlikely to explore the advanced options.
