I was trying to look at .cs files and accidently said use adobe reader to open it instead of notepad and it wont let me change it and when i open it adobe reader comes up saying "Adobe reader does not support .cs files" and i dont know how to change the program that opens it. (I use windows xp) Thank gosh it didnt mess up the files though but i cant open it.

Right click>Open with.. THen check the box and choose notepad.

right click it and move your mouse over 'open with>' and select notepad. also, this belongs in help

7 seconds >:O

All i see when i right click on a .cs is open cut copy delete and properties and this affects all my .cs files

Go to properties then, there should be an open with thing there.

I can't find "open with" thing all i see is a bunch of untoggleable stats of the .cs file.

Two options here, number one, mess with the registry, not too easy.
Number two, open notepad, then click open, find the cs file, and open it. Not sure about #2 but I know that #1 is permanent.

Well i cant do number 2 because when i click the folder, it loads the folder text and doesnt show the files on note pad. So i guess ill have to mess with the registry i hope someone can tell me how too.

Wait, you can show all files by changing the option in the open menu that says "Text Documents (.txt)" to All Files.

I found out that I can't tell you how to do the registry thing, but try the easier one.
To make what wizard said easier to understand, when you click open there's a selection list, to the right of the name of the file, click on it and select all files.

k i will try that when i can

Actually guys i fixed it i just extract the files then right click then use open with then click notepad. Thx for your help
