How do I post an Add-On?

I have an add-on i want to post but dont know how to make it a zip file or any of that stuff. Can someone please help me? FREE COOKIE TO WHOEVER TELLS ME!!!

If you don't know how, don't post the add-on at all.

I'm not sure if I should tell you, because if you don't know how to do this your Add-on might suck...

Well, if it does it'll be fail bin'd, so:

Right-click on your Desktop and select New > Zip folder/file/something (I use Winrar, so I don't recall the exact name)

Name it using the file prefix rules for add-ons (Script_Add-on_name, Weapon_Add-on_name, etc.)

Put the files into the folder.

Upload it to a file hosting site such as Mediafire (Make sure you test it first.)

Post.

I mean think about it. Who would know how to model a working map but NOT make a ZIP file?

If it is a map, I already have a mental image of what it looks like.
