Author Topic: Italicized names?  (Read 652 times)

Just a random question, but out of total curiosity, why are some people's forum names italicized? For instance, Ladios' name is, Rotondo's name is (yes I know he's a moderator, but there are a few other non-mods with names like that). Is there a reason for this?

My name used to be hidden on the whos online thing. Basically as a "stop doing that, you're a dumbass", Badspot put my name italiscized so it's easyer to notice.

He's done things to mess with me before like this. Whenever I first joined the Blockland forums I went through a phase where I talked only in third person. Eventually Badspot filtered the word "Ladios" to "me" which countered all the times I said this. Also everyone who wrote my name would instead write me which had some hilarious results (even some people who thought I was hacking).

Just cause hes the creator of blockland and is an insensitive prickno offense doesnt mean he has no sense of humor.

Ohai Ladios. I see. So, basically you're saying he just did that to make your name easier to notice? If so, for what specific reason? And does the same thing apply to Rotondo and others (even though I highly doubt it), or is his italicized for a different reason?

Off topic: damn you edit quickly.

To annoy me. xD
I think he did it to everyone who had their names hidden on the "who's online" list.

Hes a moderator.

Lol.

Hes a moderator.

So are Badspot and Ephi, and their names aren't italicized...

Maybe he used to be hidden?

Could be, I find that fairly unlikely though.
