Outlining chapters in a textbook is probably the worst assignment.  Sure, it may be easy, but really, all you're doing is taking in information and puking it up into MS Word in a semi-organized form.  There is no thought process to it, and usually after outlining a few pages my brain has turned into a useless glob of mush.

I'd much rather write an essay, at least I can think for that.
