Author Topic: Computer forgeted beyond repair?  (Read 805 times)

My PC recently got some kind of virus. It happened when I installed Toribash 3.8 from the official source. I started tori, then every interface reverted to an older operating system, the one that has a rectangular blue window bar ( as opposed to rounded blue). Along with that, firefox won't connect to Internet, nor will steam or blockland, and cortex command won't start, and it won't let me into some control pannel settings, any way to fix?

"safe mode"--safe mode appears as a black screen

Btw I'm typing from my iPod, so now nobody has to ask how I'm posting this

Doesn't that clear files, but how2format?

Extra info: I may have accidentally installed mac version if that's possible( dunt think so, but I have no idea) and I downloaded a firefox extension for playing videos before tori

I don't think you have a virus, you probably just installed "Toribash 3.8", whatever that is, wrong.

1. Start up.
2. System restore.
3. ???
4. Profit!

This, or just install your OS again lol.
Then throw it out the window.

Um, I don't think it's possible for me to mess up my computer this badly with only 2 buttons per installation screen, but thanks for actually trying to help. You too kalph but I still dunno how to format

Edit I'll try that nick

All i could think of was to reformat it but someone already suggested that :/

I would tell you how to reformat but I am sure google will find a website with pretty little pictures and circled areas.
