Author Topic: Serial- one of the scariest short stories I have ever read.  (Read 1250 times)

let me preface this story with this: This is one of the scariest things I have ever read. I felt something close to physical revulsion and fear while reading this. Do not read this if you are easily scared.

That being said, this is a great (albeit suspensful and to a point twisted) story by two horror authors. They both wrote profiles of two serial killer hitch hikers, one who killed people he picked up and one who killed people who picked her up. They both meet and this is the story. The first chapter is written by the first author, the second chapter by the second, and the third one is where the two characters meet and was written paragraph by paragraph by the two writers. It's a very good read, it took me about 20 minutes.

Just in time for Halloween.

Good wow. I haven't finished it but I've been glancing at parts and seems pretty good. I'll have to read it in depth a bit later.

The pulling out the adam's apple part was the only part that bothered me, because my adam's apple is HUGE so it made me a little uncomfortable thinking about it.

If you read the whole thing, wow. This entire story was really creepy to me.

I read it all, it ends when they both go off the mountain right? the last 10 pages seemed like an interview to the writer so I didn't read it.

Yeah that's the whole thing. Or at least all that I read.

Loved it. They should do another. I liked the style.

A gay creep-serial killer was enough to piss my pants off.

I winced at the part when the lady was dragging the two boys on the pavement with a car.

Not particuarly scary, but a nice read.
