Author Topic: How do I port things?  (Read 512 times)

Yes this is a really dumb question to you but I want to port something from one of my games and I don't know how.

I am not porting so I can piss you off, I'm simply going to port something from LEGO Island 2.

Heres a deal, if you want to know what I'm porting from LEGO Island 2 then I suggest you help me.

So, how do I port things?

No edit: Also I have used search but it dident come up.

What exactly do you want to port?

A port is where you take an add-on that doesnt work with the current version and fix it up so thst it will work

OK, listen to this then.

Age of Time and Blockland. Two diffrent games, correct?

Now, Badspot said not to port anything from Age of Time to Blockland.

Which obvioulsy means it's possible.

That's my aim. To port something from one game (LEGO Island 2) to another (Blockland).

What exactly do you want to port?

No edit: I told you if you help me then I will tell you. The only thing I can tell you is that it will be something cool.

Are you obsessed with copying stuff?!
Porting just requires renaming and/or resorting of the files to fit into the format required for blockland addons...

But seriously, you save builds and post on gallery of other ppl, and now you want to copy another game? Is lego island torque anyway?

Lego Island was not made on the Torque engine. You can't port anything from that game, unless you programmed some sort of converter for Lego Island's files.
