Take apart the cell phone and radio clock. Put the phone battery in your inventory. Take between 3 and 5 rounds from your stash of ammunition, attatch it to the receiver/sender node of the disassembled phone. Take the mechanism that causes the phone to vibrate and hook it up to a conductive wire. Attach the wire to the back of all of the rounds, and set the rounds up in the hall outside of your doorway. Hook the radio clock up to the "bomb" of rounds, and set the alarm to activate in 5 minutes, which is the time you predict the gaurds will be returning. Activate the alarm, and run out into the hall where you see a metallic cart used to transport food stuffs and hide in it.
