Author Topic: Stuck on Mission-Editor  (Read 2297 times)

Alright, i have an XP so i found some tutorials on Youtube. But none of them worked when i tried it.
so then i made a Shortcut to Blockland, Named it to [ Mod Editor ]. Then i added -Mod Editer on the target and clicked Ok.
So heres the screw up: My F11 was Hate Emote. So i took it off, Repeated the whole process and deleted the old one. Made a LAN server. But nothing Pops up when i click F11.

OH NOZ, WHATS GOING ON!?!?

Cause i REALLLLLYYYYY Wanna make an Epic Map :D

This should help!

Well you name the blockland thing to somthing like "blockland -modeditor" sorry if i got it wrong.
Just add this      -modeditor
it should work if not check your controls  :cookieMonster:

Try setting all the contoles back to default. It should help.

-modeditor

It's wrong. Make sure there is a space between the file location (C:\Blockland\Blockland.exe) and the dash (-) and a space between mod and editor.
Make it this exactly:

C:\Blockland\Blockland.exe -mod editor

or it might be

"C:\Blockland\Blockland.exe" -mod editor

-Mod Editer

Spelling it correctly may help ;D

I made the video and the way it's shown in the video is exactly the correct way to do it on XP. I did this on a fresh copy of Blockland and it was the first time I every launched the mission editor on that copy. And surprise, I don't show it in the video, but after the video ended I ran it and the editor worked.

If you are running Windows XP and installed Blockland to the default location it will work 100% of the time.

The mission editor does not work on the demo either, so you need to have the full game. You wouldn't believe the number of people who have the demo and tell me that I'm wrong because they are locked out of features they have to have the full game for.

Ah, screw this. I got the client sided.
