Author Topic: How do you host a dedicated server?  (Read 1233 times)

How? I can't find any information on it!

Firstly, your ports must be forwarded. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, they probably aren't. Port forwarding tutorial.
If they are forwarded, open your Blockland folder. If you're running Windows XP, your Blockland folder is located in C:\Program Files\Blockland. If you're running Vista, your Blockland folder is located in C:\Blockland. Once there, find a file called "dedicated.bat" and double click it. The dedicated server console window will open and begin to launch your dedicated server.

Once it's launched and you want to join it, open Blockland and click "Join A Game." Then, at the bottom of the server list window, there's a button labeled "Query LAN," click it. Your server should be the only one on the next list it brings up. Join it like you would normally join any server.
