The first Assassin's Creed has some requirements and I was not meeting 2 of them. They were processor and RAM. The game required a 2.6 Ghz Processor but I only had 2.4. It also required 2GB of RAM and I only had 1.

So recently I installed an extra 2GBs of RAM, so now I have 3GB of RAM but I won't get a proper processor until Saturday. Do you guys still think the game will still work properly?

How many cores does your CPU have? Note that the 2.6 ghz requirement is for pentium D processors. If you have a core 2 duo or core 2 quad, you should be fine.

Single Core till Saturday.
On Saturday I'm getting a 3.0 Dual.

EDIT:
To be exact I have an AMD Athlon 2.4 GHz Single Core.

From steam: Requires a dual core processor or better. Please check system requirements before purchasing.
So you cannot at this point.

All games usually work on systems similar, if not worse, to them.
If you have a lower requirement, you may have to abolish most of the graphics quality
