I think a dedicated server goes even after you leave, so people on your server can play without you.

If there is anyone in your server and you have RTB, then click your server and hit the information button at the bottom. It will tell you who is in the server. If they are there, then that must mean they know the password. Irc one of them.

dedi's won't crash from rockets and things like that, or brick count seeing as they don't have to render all of that
