Author Topic: How do i make a thumbnail?  (Read 763 times)

I need to know how to make a thumbnail. Any help?

Thumbnail of a thumb nail:

Open your image in paint
Ctrl + A
Click and hold the lower left dot
Drag it until the label on the bottom bar says 32x32 (I believe thats the good resolution)
Resize the white canvas too
Save as .png

For some reason, whenever I try to make a PNG detail with MS Paint, something goes wrong. I'd just use Paint.net. And yes, 32x32 is the correct size

I have GIMP too, But i prefer paint for simple things like this.

I've heard that Paint use majicks to make the .png only appear as .png even though it's actually a .jpeg in a bizarre way. Derailing in fun.

What kinda of thumb? Different kinds require different sizes.

No, this is because you're doing it wrong.

Then why if you export the same image in PNG and JPEG, They are different sizes?  :cookieMonster:

I said that I've heard such thing, I never said that I was sure of it. I don't use Paint anyways.
