Hi again.
I was wondering as I have saved a model as a .dif, how do I get it into mission editor?

Put it and the exported textures into your map's folder.

Would I put it into the folder of the map I am importing it into? (Flatlands)

You can technically throw it in any folder that begins with a valid addon prefix like Client_ or Map_.
Your mission folder will reference the location by name however so if you eventually rename the folder and map you will need to change the locations in the mission file. Your interiors also need to be distributed with the map. So it's best practice to include everything in a correctly named folder to begin with.

So.  The folder Map_Flatlands.  I just stick it in there?
I tried that.  But nothing showed up :P

You can put it in a folder called Map_ScoutsPancakes if you want.
You'll find it anyway, if you search on the right place.

Where would that RIGHT place be?  Would it be in one of the WINDOW tabs?
