Author Topic: Need help making an animated gif with transparency.  (Read 416 times)

I'm trying to make an animated gif with a transparent background, but I'm having a strange problem.

I'm using this as the original:(this is only the first 10 frames and drastically slowed down)

But when I delete the background, the animation turns out like this:

Anybody know why the frames are repeating in the background?

I'm using Ulead gif animator, if anyone has used it.
And sorry if this is should have gone in creativity. I wasn't sure.

There is no option for layers. There's current frame and active object.

This software is confusing as hell. I think I might just have to say screw it.

EDIT: I'll probably just split to original into frames, then remove the background for each frame separately in Paint.NET and build a new animation, instead of editing the existing one. It's gonna be annoying though, the animation is 49 frames. :\

Thanks anyway.
