Author Topic: 2d Model Turning into 3D on MS3D [HELP]  (Read 1350 times)

Hey i made a model of a gun in 2d using vertexs, i then extruded it to make it 3d ish but how do i fill in the gap at the other end of the extrude. Please help. ~Rusty

Eh, i dont think that's the best way of making 3d models. I'd start off by extruding

In milkshape, Just select 3 vertices, and press F.
Make sure faces are facing the right way (Ctrl + Shift + F), and do this for all the vertices untill your gap is filled

Yes I've done the part with the triangles I've got the extruded bit I just want to know how to close the gap after extruding.

Fill in the face your self?
If you have the knowledge to make faces.
It shouldn't be hard.

Just use the counter clockwise method depending on which side you look at it. Then reverse the vertex order when necessary.
