That doesn't sound like you were trying to make amends, though he really shouldn't have been so rude and abusive. Then again, it sounds like you were provoking him a bit. Then again, he should have had patience and handled it better then through abuse. :c I suppose forgiving and learning from this is a fine road to travel on, even if he so ignores it. At least you'd be on the path. :o.
