ok, what darkhaz isn't totaly correct
basicaly, it's running while you're computer has a connection and the window is running, it is difficult to crash due to it not rendering explosions, bricks, datablocks, and all that, not very laggy for your computer because it doesn't render all those things, and you can leave it without it crashing
and to open it, like darkhaz said, go to you're blockland folder, double click dedicated.bat, then after a while when it says "Dedicated server is now running." you can query lan and join it
Question, I guess i'm a handicap also. A command prompt shows up, I join the server and it's dedicated. Do I have to keep the window up in order to keep the server online? Just wondering, can't leave my PC on for the rest of my life. ;_;
