Re-rail my comp is running much smoother now that I deleted more stuff.
But should I buy a external hard drive?
If you REALLY need it.
Personally, delete ANYTHING you do not absolutely need. I suggest getting a normal MP3 player so you don't have to keep your music on your computer. Some iPods force you to do that syncing crap which you pretty well need to keep a library of files on your computer.
Pictures can be uploaded to photobucket. It's free, you can make an account and manage albums. Some people will argue that it resizes your images, but there's actually an option to disable that.
Delete installers, or back them up to a CD. The only reason you would keep installers is incase you need to reformat.
Delete unused free programs.
Delete any software that you do not use that you got from a CD.
Run diskcleanup, which is a tool that comes with windows.
Doesn't really matter, depends on if you want (A a large drive or (B the best price-per-gig.
If (A, then how big?
If (B, just look at a few and divide price by gigs.
Some hard drives run faster than others.
Ok I might get one for my B-day coming in March 4th
quick question do they inprove speed?
When loading, if you have a faster hard drive.
