What's the best Computer screen caption device?

What's the best Computer screen caption device?

I would say for screen cap, procaster, but you neds a livestream account, and it records and saves it in your own online movie storage!

I use easy cap to record off my PS3, and i use it to upload vids to youtube.

I use camstudio, but when recording fast-flashy looking games, the quality gets messed up.

I'd suggest Fraps. Cost money, but it's the best quality out there. Even though you can only record games with it, which is a real bummer.

fraps
I use this. If you don't have it I would say Procaster.

Fraps is the way to go. There is a few reasons for this, such as it records games and since it only records 1 window and not everything on your computer, therefore you get less lag or frame skips if you where to use say Hypercam.

Never go with hypercam it slows down even the best PC's reason for that is it records EVERYTHING even if It's minimized.

And when you're done recording a game on Fraps it knows what game you where playing and will include it in the file name.

Fraps is pro. If not, I'd use Xfire but it doesn't seem to want to record sound for me.

I own the full version of FRAPS and it works alright, but it can give you a significant performance hit.

I've heard PlayClaw is quite good, check it out.
