Author Topic: Albion[Medieval RPG] [WIP]  (Read 3276 times)

Albion is a medieval RPG. Instead of flat, no landscape, and walled in RPG's, Albion has no boundaries (except at the end of the world), and has detailed landscape. I present the RPG.
Overview (So Far)

A bridge and some landscape

The waterfall (There's a mine in it)

The waterfall mine

A house and some more landscape (Yes, this is on Badspot's Lag Party, but i built it anyways.)

The WIP desert

The first town

The winterland+Wind-Man

A house

Progress:
Class Quests: 100%
Classes: 100%
Saving/Loading: 100%
Landscape: 35%
Skills:
Woodcutting: System done, not all trees made
Mining: System done, not all ores made
Blacksmithing: 0%
Stores/Buying: You cannot buy weapons, but you can buy ore for an extremely high price.
Monsters: 1% (Some of the monsters will not attack)
Chest System: 100%, but not all chests placed.

FYI, the server is passworded as i don't trust anyone (except poiuyt) on the internet.

I might unpassword the server if i need help.
Mabye...

If you need help with events I could do that.

You might want to make a walled in tutorial area, that's what I've done with my current RPG project and it seems pretty essential in a free-roam landscape.  It's much better than starting up the finished project for the public and having people ask you millions of questions.

And if only you had to do the Blockland tutorial the first time you played, there would be less idiots.

Oh, and also: Get an original name?  As cool-sounding as Albion is, I half expected a remake of Bower Lake when I was clicking on this topic.

I could help with the Bots, and Maybe some Buidlings

Looks fun.
I like the details that were put in on the landscape. But, one question: do the waterfalls lag? :P

don't like for some reason. Good building, but I don't like it. It seems too "open" as I like the (somewhat) walled-in RPGs. Without them, a player could walk for eternity without doing anything. Perhaps make walls only on the edges?

Albion has no boundaries (except at the end of the world)

I don't plan on making walls anytime soon, as it is still very WIP
Also, i had no idea that albion was a lake/something existant

Albion is the name of the region in Fable II.
