Author Topic: How to get Ipod to connect to wi-fi help?  (Read 588 times)

Okay, I recently got an ipod touch, and I've been trying to connect to my house's wifi, and it connects and all, but I can't physically surf the web or go on the app store. I have been looking on apple's troubleshooting pages, but I can't seem to find it. My ipod says I am connected and has full signal strength, but I cannot do anything online. Do I have go on my computer's router page and allow it or something? Please help, thanks.

Mine just worked no problem, I'm actually on it right now.  Unless your router requires that you register all wireless connections, it should work fine.  Try shutting it off completely by holding the power button.

That happened to me. After a while it just connected. I don't know what happened.

How would I register it? I was on my Dlink page and It said I needed either a PIN from my ipod or to press connect when it said to. I can't find the PIN, and you can't physically hit connect on an ipod, just touch which wifi spot you want, and It auto connects, so It wasn't working. Any help with registering it?

Bump, to avoid second page, please help :P
