ok divx didn't fix, but i did check for drivers for my video. and it has an update.
i assumed there wasn't a newer one because i used the CD (just got the card)

im not that old guys. i just changed my birthdate from 97 to 87 so no one would make fun of me for looking old at 13.

and that update fixed me. i can watch movies and see the top half now.
hurrah. now who gets that quarter
