Author Topic: Neighborhood cats advice  (Read 864 times)

Okay, so here's the story. In my complex cats hang around the garbage (yeah I know). Anyway, my dad one day decided to leave a bowl of food out for them. They were obviously starving. One of the strays we took in. The rest we couldn't. So we kept feeding them and they kept getting better and better. Two in particular we liked to see because they were mates and they always came to our door for food more often than the other cats. One day our manager said we can no longer feed the cats as he says they are spreading fleas. Which I think is bullstuff as many people walk their bloody dogs around the area. Anyway, we kept feeding them, then we got another warning. It was a 3 day eviction notice, then we stopped feeding them.

Well here's the dilema, I don't know what to do with those two cats. We can't take them in as they are afraid of humans, but they keep coming to our door for food. They're so thin and hungry, I can't help but feel bad for them. What should I do?

Please don't joke around that we should kill them, this is a very serious matter to me.
