Author Topic: Well I got a new guitar  (Read 1731 times)

A Laguna LE300AVB, what a piece of stuff, after playing with it for only 1 week 3 of the strings snapped, the high E snapped twice and then the B string snapped too. I'm gonna return it, get something worth the money >.>
about the only thing that's nice about it are the abalone inlays

Learn to string and tune.

I do know how to do that, every time I freakin' bend on it the strings snap, even if it's just a half step up :(

Wouldn't that be the strings, not the guitar?

I think it might have something to do with the locking tuners, strings are D'Adarrio strings that I replaced them with.

My new guitar had the same problem. I bought a pair of new strings from a hippie and now it works perfectly. (Costed $8.92)

Try filing down the tuner that the string wraps around and around the hole you thread the string through, If it has a sharp edge it will break the string.

Electric guitars are too loud and obnoxious.

Thanks TapeDeck,
also does anyone recommend a good brand for strings?

Playing an acoustic guitar makes you irreversibly a douchebag.

Ha, how about Acoustic-Electric?

I swear by earnie balls.  I would recommend a set that as a 10 gauge high E because it gives a lot better tone than a 9 and won't break so easily.
