Author Topic: How to disable the sidebar on the new Google layout?  (Read 2281 times)

Ironicly it works fine on google chrome :D
I think it may be a problem with my PC. It's been acting up, including freezing "Moving file to..." windows and being unable to close them, freezing Explorer on a new folder/rename folder...

...I really, really need to restart my PC.

EDIT: Just tried it on my laptop...I actually like it better than the old Google.

I meant it's ironic in the sense that he was getting errors on other browsers whilst I use a browser made by google and it was working fine.

But thats expected so its not ironic

When will google stop taking over the world?

Found a guide if anyone wants to disable it.

It first showed up when I wanted to define a word, but the new layout didn't give me that [definition] link.  :panda:

IT'S A PLOT BY GOOGLE TO MAKE EVERYONE USE THEIR BROWSER

:c

fix it by going here: http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all

just bookmark that, and it will let you use google search without the new clusterforget sidebar.

I much prefer when they had the option to hide the sidebar. I rarely have to set some filter for the things that I search. Therefore, the sidebar is useless to me.
