Author Topic: How to get view through scope?  (Read 578 times)

So i made a model of G36E (wow a 3d model) but i would like to know how can you make it view through the scope? I think this should go into coding help :)

Also i need a scripter for my gun, please PM me...

Pictures are below, they are outdated though

Use a custom animation that moves the gun into the user's face?

and how do you do that? :) Well if i have the the thing on the xyz cross point do i need to make an animation to move the whole thing in front of the face or is this done through a script?

Find the Old School Rifle and look at its code. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to do it with animation, because you'd have to do it on the player, or it would look very odd.

I believe the OSR uses a custom made player type.

Looked at it... i was pretty much overwhelmed by the code, and i couldnt figure out how to use that in my weapon... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Scope on the OSR does NOT use animation or custom player types. It uses EYE OFFSET. Herp.
