I've been trying to do some simple addon mods like changing different sounds, changing the .dts file to ones I've modled and things like that. (with out playing with the script) But when I re-compress them and put them back into the addons folder, they don't show up on the check list. I should tell you that I have a mac and can't edit .zip files with out extracting them first. I've also tryed extracting addons then compressing them, with out editing them, and they don't work either. I think it could be something to do with the way I compress them. (I typically do it with stuffit and also by right clicking it)
any suggestions?
