Hideous. What more do I need to explain? Ugly. Unattractive. Unappealing. Hideous.
Just because you would like to hear something positive doesn't mean that's what you're going to get.
Bar has been appropriately lowered.
It's not that I want to hear positive feedback, its that frankly I don't respect or have much tolerance for abrasive, one dimensional criticism -- it's lazy. Real criticism comes as a form of encouragement, areas where a constructive element can be improved upon, or in contrast, not further improved on. This actually causes the "bar to be raised". In fact, claiming that the bar is "appropriately" lowered is only further proof of your misinterpretation of criticism, not to mention obnoxious.
Take an art course, or a hundred.
