I am certain people from other places adapt to where ever they live's accent, if I live in Texas, I would be prone to say "yall" (Stereotypical but just an example) more often than you all. I have also heard this from my teacher who lived there for 5 years and he had their accent and seemed to have lost it as far as I can tell.
So, 19 years later when living in someone else's country, I highly doubt they will even remotely sound like where they were from.
