LU can't be compared to Blockland and Roblox. completely different genre.
This to an extent. The main purpose of LU isn't to be a complete sandbox game based around Lego, which Blockland and Roblox are.
Anywho, it's impossible to get a fair review of all three of the games on this website, because quite obviously, we'd be biased towards ourselves, and considering unfortuante history with certain members of Roblox, we're not all 'Best Friends Forever'.
Also, coming from my biased view, I prefer Blockland to Roblox. I prefer the graphics, and the design, which has it's own interesting style, and is crafted well. I've seen the Roblox figures and stuff, and they really seem rather... "Half-assed" so to say.
I've seen glimpeses of their community, and it doesn't sound too pleasent. But, when you've only seen the really stupid/terrible parts of their community, it's not hard to take it as word that everysingle person who plays Roblox is stupid.
I'm pretty damn sure that there's enough utterly dreadful and stupid things on our forums that would, if being the only information shown to a stranger, would most defintely deter them from the community and/or game.
The money thing, I'm not sure about. I have no idea what Roblox's BuilderClub's and things actually entitle you too, or why you'd cash out big time for them. I also know that it has free capabilities too, so that is, in some respect, a plus for Roblox.
Our game is a 1 time payment. Nothing too high, a fair amount less than what most people would spend for a decent game from a fully established game-company.
Luckily, in the long run, a 1 time payment is better than a rately payment, but being free is better than both (So long as the free content is worth it, in your opinion).
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is that you can't judge both of the games here entirely fairly, especially not when you haven't played both, or have only ever played one.
Enough of the petty squabbling about which game is better, surely it should just be left down to :
"I like to play Blockland."
"I like to play Roblox."
and nothing more. Have whichever you choose, or have both.
