In my opinion, are the floating bodyparts a little bit cooler. But it would be cool if you could choose between them. Like two different kinds of people. Like races.....and have wars....:D

No, the copyright issues had nothing to do with this player model. The copyright issues were with the round studs and the old Lego Player model from RTB. If it comes with the game and is copyright protected, then it is illegal and they could sue Badspot. But if it is a third-party mod, then it is legal since Badspot is not claiming it as his work.
