My mom rented a random movie called moon. I read the back and it sounded really boring but I decided to watch it anyway. My assumption was wrong, this movie is great!
Basically it's about a guy that works on the moon to harvest some form of energy (this is some time in the future) and his only company is a talking robot and pre-recorded videos from his wife, daughter, and employers via satellite.
Now before you make the same mistake I made by assuming this sounds horrible, there's a huge twist around the middle of the movie that I don't want to give away.
Anyways, if you've seen the movie, discuss, if not, see it.

I watched a Twilight Zone episode with almost the same plot once.

I've seen the trailor for it and want to see it some time. Now I don't want to give away the twist if I'm right but I'm guessing the twist is right before he goes home the machine gets jealous. It doesn't want him to leave so it does some crazy stuff like shutting down doors so he goes and has this crazy stuff to get out.

That actually makes a lot of sense now that you say it. The movie seems a lot like something you would see in a Twilight Zone episode. I'll PM the twist to see if it's the same.
