Author Topic: I ain't letting my computer goin' down without a fight.  (Read 1104 times)

I've fought for my computer's life twice. I saved it twice. By using a tactic I made up, it'S VERY risky, and requires luck, you must restart, then lag up computer, then click on scanning program ( malware bytes ) then finally, wait. Then restart again, and you're computer is fixed. I ain't letting this computer down without a fight, it has too much of my precious information and storage in it to go down.

My laptop battery is nearly permanently dead and I'm waiting as long as possible to buy a new one because they're so expensive

It currently lasts 28 minutes :V

My mom's laptop dies two seconds after it is unplugged.

Mine lasted 4 hours last time.

You wouldn't have to fight if you didn't have the stupidity to let something compromise your system or ruin whatever is messing it up.

Mine used to be broken to the extent that it would drop rapidly, somewhere near your length of time.
Then it progressively got worse and couldn't go for more than 3 minutes.
Then it lost it entirely and the battery wouldn't work unless the charger was in. Power settings didn't make a difference.

Luckily, my laptop was in warranty, so it was sent in and repaired, however the problem still persists and it can only go about 10-20 minutes without a charger. Not to mention I lost a lot of data as the laptop was reset to factory settings. I hadn't backed up the memory as I hadn't imagined it would have it's memory wiped and when I had tried briefly before, it was having difficulty moving memory to disc. :(
I lost a lot of memorable bits of data that day.

And I saw that ninja.

Orly? Mine has the best out of all of yours. Mine lasts 2 hours.

What.

I left my comp turned off and plugged in for a few months, so that's probably why its dead.  On a related note, my Droid Eris phone's battery sucks ass.

ITT: People posting about not letting their computers die

It's still completely on the rails

Double post I'm too lazy to edit:
Scratch that, it was 3 hours.
