I'm trying to model a weapon but i don't know what software to use.

Can someone give me a link or tips so i can model?

Blender is the best you can get without flushing a grand down the toilet.


Blender has a weird interface and I hate how almost all of it's commands are on the keyboard. I prefer getting a list of possible actions to do with a particular Object/Face/Edge/Verticie instead of having to press random buttons. I only use blender for texturing/adding nodes/exporting. I suggest using any other program you can find that is free and not Sketchup.

There is also Wings 3D, another free program that thus far has been more easy for me to learn than Blender.

I've noticed tat most people who make models for BL make mostly guns that don't look like they'd fit in BL.
