Author Topic: Recoloring Problem - can't keep parts from recoloring  (Read 456 times)

Simply put, I'm trying to get most of a player-type model to recolor, and some parts to not recolor.

The problem is, the "non-recolorable" parts still recolor, or rather, the painted color (the color the player-type was painted) and the color of the non-recolorable parts mix; usually resulting in a darker version of the painted color.

I've tried several things to fix this, such as changing colors, file names, etc., but I always get the same results.
All names and colors are correct, and everything seems fine in the script and model. The only thing that I can see that might be causing this problem is the fact that the non-recolorable objects of the model also have recolorable sections.

Also, I'm using Blender, and the playertype uses Rot's zombie mod. (like that matters... )

And I have this funny feeling that I'm forgetting something obvious... :P

bump.

I really need this solved... :/

It might be because you have nodes that the default playertype also has.

Just tried it. Didn't seem to work. D:

Either:
Backfaces
Lighting issues by scaling in object mode

That is all I can think of.
